St. Michael is a city with a rich history dating back to 1858. The city took its name from the St. Michael Roman Catholic Church and was incorporated in 1890. The Corner Bar, a restaurant operating for over 120 years, shut down in 2020. Generations of patrons stopped by to collect a brick or two from the restaurant before demolishing it.
